Cotterill Family Session
This is a story of great pain, and great love. A few years ago i photographed Elizabeth's wedding day who married her long-time love. Present to witness their parents tie the knot were their two daughters who were so little at the time & in mum's belly their son. Recently, Elizabeth contacted me for an updated family photoshoot, letting me know she tragically lost the love of her life Ashly. I can't even imagine what the last year has been like for her, not having her husband by her side and raising her family on her own. With this photoshoot, i wanted to create & capture some new memories for this beautiful family, whom have been through alot and are still processing the new picture of their family. These kids are so strong, and their mum even stronger. I am so inspired by her love, for her husband and for her children. Elizabeth told me how wonderful Ashly was as a father, he was always good at staying on top of things like medication & looking after their kids. She admires him for that, and i have no doubt that his legacy will live on through the love that is strong in this family.
